Registering as a Satellite

To register as a Satellite on Maven Finance, users must stake a minimum of 1,000,000 MVN tokens, allowing them to vote on governance decisions in subsequent cycles and opt to operate oracle nodes for additional rewards. The delegation limit is capped at 10%, enabling a maximum delegation of 10,000,000 sMVN for a Satellite's total amount of 1,000,000 sMVN.

For Satellite registration, the required information includes:

• Name (real or alias)

• A website detailing your values and providing more information about you

• A brief description of your Satellite

• Your delegation fee, a percentage taken from delegation rewards as compensation for running the Satellite (Typically ranges between 5% - 10%)

• A profile picture

Once submitted, the Satellite is instantly listed on the Maven Finance platform, ready to receive delegations.
